Hi, I am Jodie (aka Jode)

Generally speaking, only my Mum calls me Jodie so please feel free to call me Jode! Born & raised in Guernsey, I am a true Guernsey girl!

Let's start as I mean to go on, I don't really do "formal" business speak. I want you to feel comfortable with me as your photographer, so I will be completely myself in any communications & in person.

That means I will make ridiculous noises to get children (and sometimes adults) to look at the camera & if that doesn't work i've been known to sing nursery rhymes.

I've been interested in photography for years & decided to take the leap into photography in December 2021. Having Rock Photography as a business was a complete accident to be honest, I made a spam Instagram page so I didn't bore any of my friends who have no interest in photography in "yet another sunrise photo" & it took off from there. I took some photographs of friends & then their friends/family started asking for photoshoots & my pricing....then this business was born.

On a personal level, I am married with a little boy. I have a very unhealthy obsession with watching Friends & am a musical soul, I love singing & also play saxophone & flute (well, I used to play them quite well years ago, it's a bit ropey now!)
